Born in East Chicago, Indiana in 1949. I was raised in Gary Indiana. I graduated from Roosevelt high School. My love of writing became evident when I attended Tolleson High School. I had an English teacher named Mrs. Bush. She saw something in my writing. I always had a discipline problem but that was because I was creative. I attended Indiana University for theater. I found old English classics boring and impact less. I craved to create what I lived. The dirty streets thrived around me. My dream came to fruition when I was asked to write a film script that mirrored my infamous neighborhood. I have now written 26 screenplays and 13 plays for individuals including Baby Dru, Jamal Woodard(actor)-Notorious Big fame, it's Just Money Entertainment, Elevate Productions of Dallas Texas.
