I am a writer, actor, producer, and editor in the field. The things I've done the longest are writing and editing. Writing was first. Editing came after. Acting and producing I started in 2022. I go by Taylor Shanice in the industry.

Screenwriter Interview:
1. How did you discover your passion for screen writing?
I discovered my passion for screenwriting early on in childhood. I loved Journaling, writing fictional stories and even done some illustrations. I realized how creative I've gotten having done this a long time.
2. Who has been your biggest influence in the movie industry?
I can name so many people. My top 2 are Crystal the Doll and Ebony Tates. They inspired me so much when it came to acting. They showed me what it's like to pave the way and make things your own as you're portraying characters.
3. Who are two actors you would like to work with, why?
Crystal the Doll because I love her drive and how she stays consistent being in so many movies. I would also like to work with Robyn Rose because of her hilarious side and that she's not afraid to be herself on set. She has a heart of gold.
4. How many screenplays or scripts have written and or have produced? List titles please.
I wrote a few skits, a few that's been released and produced and a few that's in the works while others not worked on yet. My 4 part series A Girl and the Frenemy is what I'm currently going by that is fully released on my youtube channel. They're called Hailey’s Regret (1), Hailey’s Doom (2), Hailey’s Happily Ever After (3), and Hailey’s Disappearance (4).
5. What are some pitfalls you've experienced in your career?
When it came to my series when part 2 and 4 were still in production, the constant rewrites I've had to do for both when my cast members dropped out, were non-responsive and had other emergency reasons as to why they couldn't finish their roles. When I knew the scenes were important to the story, I worked my way around, looked at the scene and thought go myself, how can I spin this to still include the characters but them not physically there? I got right to work. Ideas usually easily come to me. It was challenging to rewrite crucial scenes but ideal got it done.

6. What are your best experiences in your career?
I wanna say getting on set for the very first time, networking and meeting so many stars inside the movie and getting to know life on set. I started out as a background character. What's interesting about this is that after that first time on set having been there so long without pay, I thought that would be my last time but I told myself later to try again. The more I got consistent with it the more I liked it then fell in love with it. Later because of my creative side I decided to become independent and do my own work as well as still working for other production companies.
7. Are you independent or do you have a contract with a movie producer?
I'm currently independent.
8. What is your all time favorite movie or movies? Why? Would you change anything about the story plot?
This Tubi Movie called Black Men Don't Cheat. From an editor perspective I would change a lot of the editing that was done go this movie. There was lots of shaking during scenes I noticed that drove me crazy to continue watching. The storyline however had lots of twists and turns. I wouldn't change a thing about it. I loved it.
