Author/Writer Interview:

1.What inspires you most to write?

What inspires me most to write is I love the story-telling aspect. It is the chance to allow people to see certain subjects, characters that I want to share and hope they find some happiness or other feelings with the story. It could also for me be a genre, certain person or event to hold the inspiration.

2. What is your favorite genre?

Horror

3. Who is one author you admire if any and why?

That’s a tough question. There are so many authors I admire. In reality, I can’t pick just one.

4. How do you overcome blank writing spells?

I take a break and relax. It usually helps me to refocus.

5. What legal publishing advice can you give?

Make sure that it is what you want done with your book.

6. How many books have you written, are any a bestseller yet?

I have written a few books. I am an indy author bestseller does not come easy; so no not yet.

7. If you had the opportunity to rewrite one movie script which would it be, why?

I think the movie script I would rewrite would be Minority Report. The reason I would rewrite that story is one of pacing. The movie was too riddled with them trying to put in science fiction for the sake of science fiction and not really moving the story along or paying attention to key elements of the story that was the original story by the author.

8. What are some difficulties you've experienced in your writing career; how do you handle book critiques/criticism?

I had an experience where someone had not even read the book and commented how I should not write about zombies. I handle criticism depending on the comment. Most of the time if I get a reaction of either good or bad then I have gotten my intention through.

9. What are your best experiences in your writing career?

Getting work completed and seeing the finished project.

10. Do you prefer to write in silence and or have some sort sound in the background?

I have background noise in the back; normally the television.

11. What are some encouraging words you'd give to another author/writer?

If this is what you want, keep at it. Learn what you can and keep going.

12. How did you decide the pricing of your material; how did you go about promotion/advertising and distribution of your work?

I based pricing on what norms would be and also how much author copies cost. When it comes to promotion, online events, reviews, social media and vending events where I am there physically to sell books. Of course with anything, word of mouth.

13. Why should anyone read your book?

"Rewind to Us" is the true romance of what you would do for the love of your life. I think there is a time when everyone wonders that. I also believe people who like K-pop idols will enjoy this story. It has a bit of fantasy in it to make the story enjoyable as well.

14. Did you have a book coach?

no

15. What was your favorite subject in school?

English and Medival History

16. Are you self-published or have an established publishing contract elsewhere?

I am both self-published and been published by other people and companies.
