Marc Jagger

My name Mark Jagger, 52 years of age, I have 6 children, 2 girls, Caitlin 28, Destinee 12, Jordan 31, Luke 29, Callum 21, and Blake (boo boo as i call him 6).

Jordan Caitlin and Luke are my children from previous relationship, Callum Destinee and Blake are the children to my wife of 14 years Kirsty, Callum being my step son as I've brought him up since he was 5, unfortunately my marriage broke down since my mental health issues to a downward spiral as I suffer from depression and bipolar also suffered 3 mini strokes.

I was a HGV lorry driver for some 20 odd years but through my illness sadly had to give that up 

The poet I write comes from the heart, writing of my own personal issues from heartbroken relationship to missing my children, also other poetry relates to mental health itself those who suffer and suffering from it, there's many kinds of poetry I've written and will still write about.

Why I chose to write poetry:, it helps my depression, it makes me smile and I look forward to others comments

POETRY 

I absolutely love writing my own poetry 

To those who love reading I uphold my loyalty 

Some ask how and say where do your words expire

Its simple, at that moment my mind's on fire

With words and sentences that come alive

As they emerge as my vocabulary does thrive 

My pen floats across the blank page 

Words fighting to be written in sort of a rage 

Subject's that mean and appeal to those 

Who's lived through it and with a smile arose

Some poems I've written about those not to blame

Life's so hard they've struggled everyday the same

Poems I've written of love along with heartbreak

Poems of life itself how we live, how we create 

I've wrote poems about myself about my life

Regarding the breakdown between me and my wife 

I've written words about my daughter and little boy 

How much I miss them waiting for that day of joy

To me poems have to have a meaning, a subject 

And I think it's important to share and reflect 

Others to read, await their comments and views

Also it's nice to read advice with the don't & Do's
