Indie Artist Bio: KeyAir is my artist name it's my real name also which is Kierre. I use my artist as a way to express me giving a breath of fresh Air with music. When I say I have the Key to the Air it's not me saying I'm God it's me saying I have the Key to Music.

Songwriter/Indie Artist Interview:
1. At what point in your life did you know/decided a career in music was for you?
I have been writing since 6th grade, music has always been with me. I don't feel like I'm destined to work a regular job for the rest of my life I feel like I'm destined for bigger whether that is Hip Hop music or acting.
2. How would you describe your style of music?
I can range from romance, conscious, everyday life to party music.
3. What motives or inspires the music you create?
90s music and everyday situations, I might've got off of work and didn't like something the boss said and I can create a song out of that.
4. What makes you different from other Artists?
My brand makes me different. I am someone who has actually done my history of hip hop music. My last EP was house music. I am now at a point where my next album has alot of funk in it. Alot of rappers are not doing funk plus I made the beats. I'm separating myself from lots of these artist that are putting music out now. It's only a select few of us who are not doing what everyone else is doing!
5. What was the hardest obstacle to overcome in your music career?
Learning that every exec doesn't mean good business and every artist just because their name is Buzzing ain't doing good business also.
6. Who is your top 3 favorite music artist?Why?
In this generation, Kendrick Lamar, Joey Badass, and Joyner Lucas, because of their content I'm all about positivity and empowerment or something that just makes me move. My top 3 as a kid was 50, Busta Rhymes and Ludacris; if you go with my old school my top is Rakim, KRS one, LL Cool J.
7. Who do you feel has or has had the biggest influence on or in the music industry?
Lil Wayne and Drake, and 50.
8. From the start of your career until now, how have you grown as an artist?
Yes!
9. What do you feel you bring to the industry as an Artist?
My own flavor, romance , positivity, life of the party & humor
I don't think to deep about it I love music.
10. When composing/creating a song do you choose the beat or write the lyrics first?
It use to be I choose the beats but for the upcoming album alot of the songs I wrote the lyrics then made the beats.
11. What mainstream artist would you like to collaborate with given the opportunity?
Doja Cat, Joey Badass, Joyner Lucas, Lil Simz , Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Dua Lipa.
12. Why should anyone press play on your song?
Because it's like a breath of fresh air.
13. What advice or inspiration would you give to an upcoming artist?
Don't ever stop , study where rap and hip hop music came from.
Also, make stuff that motivates people!
