Author/Writer Interview:
1.What inspires you most to write?
Knowing that there are youths, teenagers, and young adults being manipulated, lied to this three dollar bill industry. Promoting a genocide cycle to throw their life away. For streets, blocks, corners and projects that they don't even own. Waiting and wanting to make a name for themselves. To a bunch of nobodies, to prove that they are somebody. When they end up in the juvenile facilities, county jails, state prison, and federal prison. They don't hear from anybody.
2. What is your favorite genre?
Biography, Autobiography Memoirs, Crime Mystery, True Crime, Non-Fiction, Poetry, Action & Adventure, Healing, Financial literature, and Literature.
3. Who is one author you admire if any and why?
YAHWEH!! I'm just the writer, the heavenly father is the author of each book I present. Saved me from multiple life sentences.
4. How do you overcome blank writing spells?
I never had a blank writing. I don't force myself to write. I allow my spirit to be my guide. Due to me having set boundaries, and cutting out distractions. When the heavenly father blesses me with a vision or a dream. With the title of the book I start writing and don't stop until I'm finished with that particular book.
5. What legal publishing advice can you give?
Before you start writing your book. You should be writing out a step by step plan how are you going to advertise & market your book. Publishing a book is the easy part. The test is finding someone to actually read it. Read, study, learn and master your craft.
6. How many books have you written, are any a bestseller yet?
I have published three books and I'm co-author of one book so far. INVINCIBLE TEARS VOL1 TEARS YOU CAN'T SEE ONLY FROM THE MIND AND HEART. LOVE THY NAYBOR VOL 2 A BROTHAZ LOVE. DA REP UTE ABLE VOL 3 TEARS STILL INVINCIBLE. MEN HEAL TOO. Bestseller not yet, so far over ten major publishing houses companies have been calling me to work with me or buy my books.
7. If you had the opportunity to rewrite one movie script which would it be, why?
Everything is about divine timing being that it said. Everything happens for a reason, it's in YAHWEH timing. I wouldn't rewrite any other story. I have countless of my own.
8. What are some difficulties you've experienced in your writing career; how do you handle book critiques/criticism?
I am one with the spirit in alignment with my purpose with the most high. Everything, I experienced was well deserved and needed to polish for me to master my craft. In order to get to the final level. Majors!! Having emotional intelligence and having the self confidence in your field. Without emotional intelligence one will retreat. You have to know what you have from within without a doubt before anyone says anything about your work. Anyone can have the self confidence. Not everyone has emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is what we all need to reach our full potential in life.
9. What are your best experiences in your writing career?
Being at my own pace, the heavenly father continues to guide me and blesses me with more book titles becoming and being more creative. I wrote over ten books that were not even published. Each time you recreate yourself, you're elevating.
10. Do you prefer to write in silence and or have some sort sound in the background?
I have written a book or two with sounds in the background. I prefer silence. Once, I write I'm in another world.
11. What are some encouraging words you'd give to another author/writer?
60% of success comes from exposure. Before you even see any money the exposure comes first which is unfortunately it is fame. It's not just about publishing a book as an author. It's about the impact in where your book can take you, the open doors that are waiting for you. The only way you will ever find out. If you have a step by step plan on advertising and marketing. Book signings, press releases, ads, are you willing to do podcast interviews. Book Fair events. 80% of authors don't go past Amazon. Because they give up.

12. How did you decide the pricing of your material; how did you go about promotion/advertising and distribution of your work?
Not chasing money, everything I do is about the message and impact to change lives and save lives. So the pricing made affordable so it can get to the endless fatherless children and teenagers. I have been on podcasts, I have donated a few copies of each of my books to a juvenile facility on campus when, I had a speaking engagement. I have done Facebook Ads which my genre comes to over 6 million readers. I did each book promotion ads on Facebook for three months straight. Then the heavenly father guided me to start doing interview articles inside magazines to market my books. Each time you network, you are bringing awareness and expanding your reach. It's an investment, one should never have the mentality. Since, I paid for this I should get this in return. You will never get to where you are going. I have been on the front cover of magazines and on the radio. All different times for each month.
13. Why should anyone read your book?
If you are tired of these rappers, and the genocide cycle within your communities. You're single mother, parents, adults and elderly struggling with their children. Have a younger sibling, niece, nephews and tired of our youths dying over gang violence. Not wanting them to become another statistic within street life, gang life, prison and gravesite. Being guided and taught how to watch out for signs. Hearing from people that actually lived it. To see it's a waste of life. Then you would want to read it. The reviews speak for themselves.
14. Did you have a book coach?
YAHWEH is my guide.
15. What was your favorite subject in school?
Math
16. Are you self-published or have an established publishing contract elsewhere?
I have my own publishing company Victory Publishing Company. The heavenly father blessed me with a distributor and now patiently waits to go major. Still holding my own company.
