Author Interview:

1. What inspires you most to write?

Children inspire me most to write. I want them to see themselves when they visit local libraries on a cover to any genre they may choose to read.

 

2. What is your favorite genre?

Fantasy is my favorite genre Ena. 


3. Who is one author you admire, if any and why?

I admire Stephen King because his imagination never cases to amaze me. 


4. How do you overcome blank writing spells?

I become busy with other things having to do with writing besides writing such as editing or working on making sure my categories are correct for my books on Amazon. 


5. What legal publishing advice can you give?

Copyright as soon as you write the first word. Protect your work always.  


6. How many books have you written, are any a bestseller yet?

I've written 48 books with seven releases. No bestsellers yet but its coming. 


7. If you had the opportunity to rewrite one movie script which would it be, why?

Um, thats a hard one... Devil by M. Knight Shamalan. We needed more background on the devil. That's the only thing I'd change. 


8. What are some difficulties you've experienced in your writing career; how do you handle book critiques/criticism?

I've experienced no support or help. As far as book critiques go you eat the meat and throw out the bone. If they say something that is true I fix the issue if it is not true, I understand my books may not be everyone's cup of tea and I am ok with that.

9. What are your best experiences in your writing career?

Meeting my readers and the excitement in their eyes when they discuss character's I made up as if they are real people. It never gets old. 


10. Do you prefer to write in silence and or have some sort sound in the background?

Music makes the world go round. 


11. What are some encouraging words you'd give to another author/writer?

Don't Quit & write every day even if it's one line. 


12. How did you decide the pricing of your material; how did you go about promotion/advertising and distribution of your work?

I priced my books based on page count. I promote my own books but I also pay people to assist in the promotions of my books. 


13. Why should anyone read your book?

It will be one of the most unforgettable stories you will ever encounter. 


14. Did you have a book coach?

No, I did not


15. What was your favorite subject in school?

English


16. Are you self-published or have an established publishing contract elsewhere?

I am a home bred self-published proud author!
